I really enjoy that fact that anything negative about El Paso is always covered here, it is interesting. Very interesting, considering the violence here, the lack of an educational system, a poor criminal justice system and everything else that goes with feeling safer than even El Paso.

well angel, i think 11 people being gunned down should make the news...
why there is not a huge wall between mexico and the u.s. amazes me....
what a horrible place, there is no controll at all. why are people proud of mexico??? its the armpit ofthe earth!

people of el paso do not realize how potentially dangerous it is for them and their children in el paso. i feel a lot less safe when i go there. If only they knew what the rest of texas feels about these border towns. it sickens me the way these border town people have a casual view towards the violence in juarez.

I've lived in El Paso all of my life and I used to hang out in Juarez when I was younger.Regardless of the violence in Juarez, El Paso continues to be one of the SAFEST places in the country. I just think its funny how a wall brings an illusion of safety to some and others whom do not know much about what is really happening are quick to talk. I am proud of Mexico because those that are not criminals (fyi Americans are the #1 consumers of these drugs) are very family oriented, humble people that are simply trying to make a living but if anyone wants to detach themselves from what are world issues and point fingers I guarantee its going to bite us all in the ass.
